Michael Zaglmair

Michael Zaglmair (born 7 December 1987) is an Austrian football player.

Life and career

Zaglmair began his career at Union Lembach from Lembach in Mühlkreisautobahn in Upper Austria. As a teenager, he played in the youth of Upper Austria's major clubs LASK Linz. 2003 played and then young goalkeepers in the first team of the Linz Regional division club FC Blau- Weiss Linz. In 2005 he moved back to LASK and was there first, second goalkeeper. In 2007 he gave his debut in Round 16 of the highest Austrian league the Bundesliga. Zaglmair played in the 4-4 draw between SK Rapid Wien and LASK Linz.

On 12 May 2010 the LASK Linz announced not to renew the contract of the Upper Austrian for the coming season. Since January 2011 Zaglmair stands at SV Horn in the Regional League East under contract after he was without a club before.

International Zaglmair took part in the U-19 European Championship in 2006, where he retired with Austria in the semifinals. A year later, he played with the U-20 FIFA World Cup 2007, where he surprisingly landed with Austria as a stock keeper at number four. He played in four of the seven games. Zaglmairs cousin is the Swiss national team Bernt Haas.
