Michal Rovner

Michal Rovner ( b. 1957 in Tel -Aviv) is an Israeli photographer and video artist.

Life

Michal Rovner studied film and television studies and philosophy at Tel Aviv University and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Since 1988 she works in New York City.

At her first appearance at the Venice Biennale in 2003, she showed Against Order? Against Disorder?. In 2005 she was invited to the Paris Jeu de Paume with the video production Fields of Fire to the Heiner Goebbels composed the noise.
