Michel Bouquet

Michel Bouquet ( born November 6, 1925 in Paris) is a French actor.

Life

He was known primarily as representatives of the bourgeoisie in the films of Claude Chabrol, mostly at the Stéphane Audrans page, so in Before nightfall, the unfaithful wife, the crack and chicken in vinegar. François Truffaut cast him as one of the victims Jeanne Moreau in The Bride Wore Black, and as a private investigator in The Secret of the false bride.

Other important roles were a man who is brought back to life (after The Bells of Bicêtre ) after a stroke by Claude Jade in the Simenon adaptation between life and death, a Commissioner who stubbornly in A Streetcar Named scaffold the rehabilitation of ex-offenders (Alain Delon ) and sabotaged his Lino Ventura prosecuting Javert in Robert Hossein's film adaptation of Victor Hugo's Les Misérables.
