Michel De Wolf

Michel De Wolf ( born January 19, 1958 in Nivelles ) is a retired Belgian footballer.

Playing career

De Wolf began his career in 1976 at RWD Molenbeek. In 1983 he moved to KAA Gent, where in 1984 he won the Belgian Cup. After five years in Ghent, he went in 1988 to Kortrijk for KV. From 1990 to 1994 he was at RSC Anderlecht under contract. The Violet he could his first championship celebration (1991 ) and two more followed. He also twice won the Belgian Supercup. In the season 1994/1995 he tried his luck in France and signed with Olympique Marseille. He finished his career after that.

Internationally, he played 42 times for Belgium. He participated in the 1984 European Championship in France ( Eliminated in the group stage ), the World Cup in Mexico in 1986 (fourth place), the 1990 World Cup in Italy (off in the second round ) and the 1994 World Cup in the USA ( from in the second round ) part.
