Michel Vergnier

Michel Vergnier ( born November 25, 1946 in Ennery ) is a French politician. He is the National Assembly since 1997 deputy.

Vergnier grew up in a hamlet of the municipality Augères on in the department of Creuse. The son of a blacksmith was already in his youth on the political left and came as a result of the Socialist Party in. Professionally, he was active as a teacher. Vergnier, supported by Senator André Lejeune, stepped up to the parliamentary elections in 1997 in the first constituency of the department of Creuse, and was elected to the National Assembly. 1998 also he succeeded in the election for mayor of Gueret. 2002, 2007 and 2012, he was re-elected as an MP.
