Michel Vinaver

Michel Vinaver (* 1927 in Paris ) is a French playwright.

Life

Vinaver was born the son of a Russian family in Paris. He studied in Paris, Annecy and New York. His pieces explore predominantly the capitalist everyday life in the second half of the 20th century. For Vinaver the struggle of companies to the consumer, for example, equally worthy of theming, as it was the power struggle by rulers for the classical tragedians earlier. The experimental text theater Michel Vinavers is currently classified as a socially critical and postmodern.
