Micranthocereus dolichospermaticus

Micranthocereus dolichospermaticus is a species of the genus Micranthocereus in the cactus family ( Cactaceae ).

Description

Micranthocereus dolichospermaticus grows with a columnar bluish engines and reaches stature heights of up to 2 meters. The drive has a diameter of up to 8 cm. There are about 30 something gehöckerte ribs available. The oval areolae are covered with bright brown wool. The 6-8 straight, upstanding central spines are yellowish, greyish in old age and are up to 2.5 inches long. The numerous radial spines are 4-7 millimeters long. Systematics, distribution and hazard

Micranthocereus dolichospermaticus is the Brazilian state of Bahia widespread in the area of Bom Jesus de Lapa. The first description as Austrocephalocereus dolichospermaticus was published in 1974 by Albert Frederik Hendrik Buining and Arnold J. Brederoo ( 1917-1999 ). Friedrich Ritter they put 1979 in the genus Micranthocereus.

In the Red List of Threatened Species IUCN 2002 was the species as "Data Deficient ( DD)", ie out with no sufficient data. In 2013, the species as " Near Threatened (NT) ", ie classified as low risk.
