Microfiber

Microfiber fabrics are exceptionally soft and resistant to deformation. Because microfibers are so fine, many of them can be packed tightly together. There are much more fine fibers required to produce a yarn, resulting in a larger fiber surface. Microfiber fabrics are very resistant to lint.

This results in special fields of application:

• Imitation leather such as Alcantara for the production of mantle materials, gloves or fabrics for upholstered furniture.
• Functional outerwear ( sports and rainwear ) of polyester or polyamide with the properties such as permeability to water vapor (sweat evaporates through the fabric pores), fast drying, wind-proof, water-resistant along with a soft touch.
