Midland Football Alliance

The Midland Football Alliance is a regional English Football Association for the territory of the counties of Leicestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Worcestershire and parts of the southern counties of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

History

The association was founded in 1994 by the merger of the two associations of numerous clubs West Midlands (Regional) League and Midland Football Combination to a scheduled operation. In the founding Season 10 clubs of the two donor organizations operating in the game the Alliance participated.

Game class structure

The Midland Football Alliance was in the first years after its foundation, not yet incorporated into the National League System, so that the association master had no automatic right to promotion in the next higher division. Rather, the master was recorded only on special request, if necessary in the game mode of a higher association. Only with the reorganization of the National League System for 2004/05 season the Midland Football Alliance was officially launched at the ninth league level of the system and the Association of Master sorted by geographical location, the rise right in the Northern Premier League Division One and the Southern Football League Division One granted.

More Contests

In addition to operating the Midland League Football Alliance also organizes two cup competitions, the Midland Football Alliance League Cup and the Cup Joe McGorian between the champions of the League operation and the winners of the League Cup.

The teams in the Midland Football Alliance also have the right to participate in the FA Cup, where they hold a to the rules of the English cup competition sufficient Stadium.
