Miekojärvi

The Miekojärvi is a lake in the western part of Finnish Lapland landscape.

The 53.34 km ² lake is drained by the southern end of the lake Tengeliönjoki. The Miekojärvi situated at an altitude of 76.9 m. The maximum depth is 22.84 m. The largest island in the lake is Vaarasaari with an area of ​​843 ha

The Miekojärvi has a catchment area of ​​2132 km ². An important tributary is the outflow of the east adjacent lake Iso - Vietonen.
