Mielęcin, Wałcz County
Mielęcin [ mjɛlɛnt͡ɕin ] ( German Mellentin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the urban and rural community Gmina Człopa ( Schloppe ) in Walęcki powiat ( county German crown).
History
Up to the first partition of Poland in 1772, the village belonged to the Kingdom of Poland - Lithuania, and was then until 1945 part of the Kingdom of Prussia and the German Empire.
Mellentin was the seat of a catholic rectory Mellentin.
