Miguel Abia Biteo Boricó

Miguel Abia Biteo Boricó (* 1961 † 6 December 2012) was dated June 14, 2004-2006 Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea.

Life

He belongs in a country that is dominated by the Fang, Bubi as an ethnic group, the otherwise politically has no great influence.

Biteo lived and studied in the Soviet Union, where he was a mining engineer. After he returned to Equatorial Guinea, he worked for the government and became one of the most powerful officials of the petroleum industry in his country. From 1999 to 2000 he was Minister of Finance. He is a close confidant of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who appointed him as prime minister. His cabinet resigned on 10 August 2006 and was four days later superseded by the government of the former Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Mangue Obama Nfubea.
