Mika Nieminen

Mika Nieminen Sakeri ( born January 1, 1966 in Tampere ) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey player who played in the Finnish SM- liiga, among other things for Ilves Tampere, Lukko Rauma, Helsinki Jokerit and HIFK Helsinki in its active period from 1983 to 2002.

Career

Mika Nieminen began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior level of the Finnish first division club Ilves Tampere, for which he was active until 1985. Then the attacker spent two years playing for Lahti of the second-rate Reipas I divisioona, before he returned for the 1988/89 season to Tampere, where he made ​​his debut in the SM- liiga this season.
