Mikael Nilsson (footballer born 1968)

Mikael Nilsson ( born September 28, 1968 in Falköping ) is a former Swedish football player. He played in defense and midfield.

Nilsson is with 609 games, including 306 in the Fotbollsallsvenskan, for the A- team record player IFK Gothenburg. He played with the club until 2001 and won with him in the years 1990, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996, seven times the Swedish Championship and in 1992 the Swedish Cup. He was also in the early 1990s long Swedish national team. He was a member of the selection squad his home both for the European Championships in 1992 and for the 1994 World Cup, but was not used in both tournaments.

Nilsson is not to be confused with the 1978 -born Swedish national team and World Cup qualifiers in 2006 Mikael Nilsson.
