Mikhail Isakovsky

Mikhail Vasilyevich Issakowski (Russian: Михаил Васильевич Исаковский; * Januarjul 7 / 19 January 1900greg in Glotowka in Smolensk. . † 20 July 1973 in Moscow) was a Russian poet.

Mikhail Vasilyevich Issakowski wrote communist stories, lyrics and poems that praised the policy of the Soviet Union. The most famous song he wrote, is Katyusha, a Russian love song.
