Mikhail Miloradovich

Count Mikhail Andreyevich Miloradovich (Russian: Михаил Андреевич Милорадович, scientific transliteration Mikhail Andreevič Miloradović; * 1 Oktoberjul / October 12 1771greg in Saint Petersburg, .. .. † 15 Dezemberjul / December 27 1825greg ) was a general of the Russian Army.

Life

Miloradovich joined young in the Russian military service, took part in the wars against the Turks in 1787, against the Poles in 1794 and then served under Suvorov, whose avant-garde, he served as Major General, in Italy and Switzerland. In the Battle of Dürnstein on 11 November 1805 he led the attack on the French under Mortier.
