Mikkeli sub-region

The administrative community Mikkeli (Finnish Mikkelin seutukunta ) is one of three administrative Communities ( seutukunta ) of the Finnish countryside Savo. It includes the following six cities and towns:

Haukivuori and Ristiina belonged to its incorporation to Mikkeli in 2007 and 2013 as an autonomous communities to manage community Mikkeli. Puumala moved to the beginning of 2009 from the disbanded governing community Juva in the administrative community Mikkeli.
