Mikko Heikka

Mikko Heikka ( born September 19, 1944 in Ylitornio, Finland) is a bishop of the Diocese of Espoo of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

Life

Heikka studied for his schooling Protestant theology at the University of Helsinki. 1968 Heikka was ordained as a pastor. To the doctor in theology, he was awarded his doctorate in 1983. Heikka was elected bishop of the Diocese of Espoo 2004.

Heikka is married and has four children.
