Miklos Gaál

Miklos Gaál (* 1974 in Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish photographer of Hungarian origin, who lives in Helsinki and Amsterdam.

Gaál studied from 1995 to 1999 at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, next to the University of Photography and Film in Gothenburg ( 1997-98 ) and graduated with a Master of Arts in Helsinki 2004 from. 2008-2009 he spent as a resident of the Rijksakademie van Beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam.

His photos, taken from a bird's perspective usually mix and out of focus and are considered innovative contributions to landscape photography. Gaál has had solo exhibitions at the Kunsthalle Erfurt (2006) and the Kunsthalle Emden ( 2005).
