Miles Aldridge

Miles Aldridge ( b. 1964 in London ) is a British photographer.

Aldridge was born the son of the designer Alan Aldridge. He is the father of the models Lily Aldridge and Ruby. Miles Aldridge first began illustration at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design to study in order to follow his father, who had designed some cover for The Who and Elton John. Aldridge changed this career plan, however, soon and was first engaged in three years with the rotation of music videos. About his girlfriend at the time he came into contact with British Vogue and began to act in the 1990s as a photographer.

Work

At the time, his style was characterized as follows: He love the Flash and Oversubscribed and also celebrates a " cult of artificiality ." Works by Aldridge are held by the National Portrait Gallery, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the International Center of Photography.
