The Kenyan Military Ordinariate is a Military Ordinariate in Kenya and responsible for the Kenyan armed forces.

History

The Kenyan Military Ordinariate supervised members of the Kenyan armed forces of Catholic religious affiliation pastoral. It was Pope Paul VI. created as a military vicariate on 20 January 1964. After a mutual decision between the Holy See and the Republic of Kenya is the seat of the Kenyan Military Ordinariate in Nairobi. It was elevated to a diocese by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution spirituality Soldiers curae on July 21, 1986.
