Milko Bobotsov

Milko Georgiev Bobozow ( Bulgarian Милко Георгиев Бобоцов; born October 30, 1931 in Plovdiv, † April 3, 2000 in Sofia) was a Bulgarian chess grandmaster.

Milko Bobozow won the Bulgarian Cup in 1958, 1960 he became an International Master in 1961, the first Grand Master of Bulgaria. He played from 1954 to 1972 in eight Chess Olympiads for the Bulgarian team won a bronze medal with her in 1968 and received in 1964 a bronze medal in the individual competition.

However, in 1972 he suffered a stroke from which he never recovered really. He was married with the International Champion Antonia Ivanova.
