Miloš Macourek
Miloš Macourek ( born December 2, 1926 in Kroměříž; † 30 September 2002 in Prague) was a Czech writer and filmmaker.
Macourek worked as a printer workers, set designers, storage workers and Publishing editor, before he first time in 1958 made its appearance as an author of a poetry band.
In the following years Macourek has established itself as a scriptwriter, such as for a number of feature films and cartoons. A special friendship connected him to the Prague director Vaclav Vorlicek.
He has written numerous children's books that have been translated into several languages and beyond produced for television. These include classics such as: The Flying Ferdinand, The Fairy Tale Bride, The Raven magic Rumburak, The Return of the fairy tale bride, The girl on the broomstick or a hamster in her nightgown.
