Mimi Leder

Mimi Leder ( born January 26, 1952 in New York, New York) is an American film director.

Life

Mimi Leder is a daughter of director Paul Leder and her mother Etyl leather. She began her career in the 1970s as a screenwriter on projects as Spawn of the Slithis (1978 ) and Hill Street Blues (1981 ) .. From 1986, began with the leather directed LA Law. In the nineties, it resulted in about a dozen episodes of ER and won Emmy Awards for it.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, she directed several action movies and dramas such as The Peacemaker, Deep Impact and Pay It Forward. But your main focus is on television.
