Minimoni

MiniMoni was a subgroup of Morning Musume which to Hello! Project include. The idea for the foundation had Yaguchi Mari, a singer of Morning Musume. The first band consisted Yaguchi Mari, Tsuji Nozomi, Kago Ai ( all three members of Morning Musume ) and Mika Todd ( Coconut Musume ).

MiniMoni was considered a children's band, which presented songs exclusively for the younger children.

Yaguchi Mari in 2003 left the group, Takahashi Ai (Morning Musume ) joined them and Mika Todd was the band leader. This also led to a rule change, because initially allowed the group members to be 150cm tall only maximum. Since Takahashi Ai was 153cm but large, the maximum was raised slightly.

In May 2004, Mika Todd left the group to Los Angeles to study music and Ai Kago Nozomi Tsuji founded the group W. Since MiniMoni officially considered resolved.

The Internet phenomenon Dramatic Chipmunk has its origin in MiniMoni.
