Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China

The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China ( Chinese:中华人民共和国 商务部) - also known as MOFCOM (Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of the People 's Republic of China of English: Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co -operation and today: Ministry of Commerce) - is a ministry of the Government of the people's Republic of China. The Ministry has the task to take care of the economy of the People's Republic of China and has its headquarters in the city of Beijing.

Current Minister of Commerce of the People 's Republic of China, Chen Deming; its predecessor was Bo Xilai.
