Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China

The Ministry of Defence of People's Republic of China (中国 国防部) is a ministry which is under the State Council. The defense, however, has reserved in contrast to Western practice no direct position in the chain of command, this remains the Ministry of parent Central Military Commission. The Ministry of Defence accepts the diplomatic mission of the People 's Liberation Army to the outside. Founded in 1954, the Ministry on the 1st session of the 1st National People's Congress of the CCP.
