Ministry of Religious Affairs

As the Ministry of Religion (Ministry of Religious Affairs or on religious affairs ) is called a ministry with the portfolio of the religious policy. They exist primarily in the states where there is no separation of church and state, and the states with religion -related social hot spots, in terms of Ministry of Integration. Often the tasks are located in a Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Culture or a home office.

The ministries of education of the German states are conceptually religious ministries (the word itself is a synonym ). They are maintained primarily for its responsibility for formerly of the churches and therefore known to the churches associated schools. However, they manage as before the Religious Affairs and the stationary state owned church building.

Islamic religious ministries serve in particular the Umra and Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca.
