Minnesota Correctional Facility – Stillwater

DieMinnesota Correction Facility - Stillwater ( MCF -STW ) is a state prison in the U.S. state of Minnesota.

It was built in 1914 and is in Bayport in Washington County. It houses 1,600 inmates in seven different areas. In one area there are prison farms, training programs and art education for prisoners. The prison has been ending his story several times renovated and renewed. 2008 three prisoners tried to escape through a tunnel, which could be thwarted.

In the movie Fargo, the prison is mentioned. Elli Frank, author of the book ' The Riot ' was a famous inmate.
