Mino Reitano

Beniamino " Mino " Reitano ( born December 7, 1944 in Fiumara near Reggio Calabria, † 27 January 2009 Agrate Brianza area, near Monza ) was an Italian pop singer, songwriter and composer.

Life

Reitano, a child of poor parents, whose mother died at the age of 27 when he was born, studied eight years at the Conservatory of Reggio Calabria, with an emphasis on piano, violin and trumpet.

He wrote almost all of his songs himself, often in collaboration with his brother Franco. Also for other artists he wrote. The interpreted by Ornella Vanoni song Una ragione di più, for in 1969 he composed the music along with his brother Franco, Italy is considered classical evergreens.

Initially made ​​Reitano with his brothers under names such as Fratelli Reitano ( Reitano brothers ) rock-' n'- roll music. In 1961 she released her first single.
