Mircea Axente

Mircea Ionut Axente ( born March 14, 1987 in Tulcea ) is a Romanian football player. The striker is since summer 2013 in Viitorul Constanta under contract.

Career

In 2006 Axente CFR Timişoara moved to local rivals FC Timişoara, who played in the highest Romanian Football League, the League 1. In order to gain match practice, he was first employed in the second team, and later awarded to FCM Resita and CS Buftea in the League 2, where he presented his scoring prowess to the test. After playing on loan for Gloria Buzau and Oţelul Galaţi in Liga 1, he stood since the summer of 2010 back in the squad of FC Timişoara. In the first half of the 2010/11 season he became a regular player. At the end of the season his team was runner-up behind Oţelul Galaţi, but had to descend due to a withdrawal of licenses. Axente remained in Timisoara and finished the season 2011/12 on the first place from. The rise was the club but because of tax debts barred so that Axente moved to first division club Dinamo Bucharest. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he was initially without a club before Viitorul Constanta took him in August 2013 under contract.
