Mirko Bonné

Mirko Bonné (* 1965 in Tegernsee ) is a German writer and translator.

Life and work

Mirko Bonné moved with his parents in 1975 by Bavaria to Hamburg, where he attended the Hansa -Gymnasium and graduated from high school in 1986 at the Otto- Hahn-Gymnasium in Geesthacht, before he performed community service in nursing and, among other things worked as an trading assistant, nursing care assistants and taxi drivers. Since the early nineties Bonné is a journalist and also works as a poet, novelist and translator. In his Keats, Trakl and calibration embossed poems, lyrical forms are handed down in a versatile manner, describe the Bonnes priority issues landscape, vitality and memory and conceptual question. In his prose Bonné repeatedly concerned with mechanisms of repression. As Shackleton and Camus shown in novels all the main characters Bonnes must insure their own origin only. In essays, travel journals and literary meetings in the feuilleton Bonné reflects its approaches. Foreign tours have taken him to South America, Russia, China, the USA, Iran and the Antarctic. Mirko Bonné is a member of the PEN center of Germany and lives in Hamburg.
