Miroslav Holub

Miroslav Holub (* September 13, 1923, † 14 July 1998), was Czech poet and physician.

After his graduation in 1943 he was employed in the war. Then he studied until 1953, natural sciences and medicine. He joined the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences and worked there with success in immunology. Literally, he became involved in the journal Soon ( Květen ). After the suppression of the Prague Spring in 1968 followed by 1980 a publication ban.
