Miroslav Kouřil

Miroslav Kouřil ( born November 16, 1960 in Zábřeh ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach.

Club career

Kouřil played from 1985 to 1987 at Slavia Prague, then three years at Sigma Olomouc. In the 1st Czechoslovak league striker completed a total of 129 games in which he scored 25 goals. From 1990 to 1993 he played in Cyprus and then returned to Olomouc, but came only six Erstligaeinsätze. In summer 1994, he joined the Cypriot second division Evagoras Paphos.

Coaching career

Kouřil began his coaching career in 1999/ 00 at TJ Hodolany, a club Olomouc district, in the 5th league. The following year, he coached Rostex Vyškov. From 2001 to 2003 he was an assistant coach at the then second division side SK LeRK Prostějov. for season 2003/ 04 he became head coach, during the winter break, he was released. In the summer of 2004 he went as assistant to the first FK Drnovice, in October 2005 he became a responsible coach and led the team to the league in the second league.

In the season 2006/ 07 Kouřil coached third division Fotbal Fulnek. He won the championship with the team confidently, but was released before the last matchday. In September 2007 he took over as coach at second division Fotbal Třinec.
