Mirosław Szymkowiak

Mirosław Szymkowiak [m ʲ irɔswaf ʃɨmkɔv ʲ ak] ( born November 12, 1976 in Poznań ) is a former Polish football player.

Szymkowiak played until the winter break of the season 2004/2005 the Polish champions Wisła Kraków and then moved to the Turkish first division side Trabzonspor for a transfer fee of 800,000 euros. There he remained for two years and finished his career at Turkish first division club unannounced in spring 2007. He is 33 -fold Polish national team and also forms part of the Football World Cup 2006 squad for the Polish national team.

After finishing his sports career Szymkowiak sports commentator was the Polish pay-TV channel Canal .
