Mirowo, Kołobrzeg County

Mirowo ( German free field ) is a dwelling-place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It belongs to the Gmina Rymań (Town novel).

Geographical location

The living space is located in Eastern Pomerania, about 90 kilometers north-east of Szczecin, about two kilometers southeast of the village Leszczyn ( Lestin ).

History

The living space was founded after 1860 as a Vorwerk of the manor in Lestin. In 1864, he appeared under the name Vorwerk I. This name distinguished the Vorwerk from the older sheep of Lestin, which was then called the Vorwerk II (later named Ewaldshof ). In 1871, then the living space appears under his new name free field. The name was formed following the wide, open spaces of the environment.

In the parcelling of the former manor Lestin in the years 1903-1907, the Prussian forestry tax authorities acquired the Vorwerk free field with the corresponding country. The land was afforested in a free field Revierförsterei furnished.

By 1945, forest house belonged to the municipality Lestin free field and with this the district Kolberg- Körlin Pomerania.

After the Second World War, the Soviet government put south of free field at a military airfield. Free field came as quite Pomerania to Poland. It was the Polish place names Mirowo.
