Misrata District

Misrata (Arabic مصراتة, Misrata DMG ) is a Munizip, located in the north-west of the Libyan Arab Republic. Capital of Munizips is the same city of Misrata.

Geography

In the historical region of Tripolitania the Munizip on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea or the Great Sirte borders. On the land side it borders:

  • On the southeast by the Munizip Surt
  • On the southwest by the Munizip al - Jabal al - Gharbi

History
