Mission Covenant Church of Sweden

The Swedish Mission Church (Swedish: Svenska Missionskyrkan ) is a Protestant church in Sweden.

Founded in 1878, today has a membership of around 65,000. This corresponds to 0.7 percent of the total population of Sweden. The church is the second largest Christian community in the country after the Church of Sweden, from which they emerged.

It consists of 686 communities in seven districts as well as from the Swedish Salvation Army, which also belongs to a non- territorial district of the mission church. The annual Church Conference is the supreme legislative body of the Church. The church councils and mission boards govern the Church in communion with the Church Conference.

Historically significant is the missionary activity of the Church in Turkestan.

The Swedish Mission Church is a member of the World Communion of Reformed Churches and the International Confederation of Free Evangelical communities ( IFFEC ). In the Community of Protestant Churches in Europe, she works as a " church involved " with.
