Mito Line

The Mito -Line (Japanese水 戸 线Mito - sen) is part of the Network of East Japan Railway Company (JR East) in the northern metropolitan area of ​​Tokyo. It connects the cities of Oyama in Tochigi Prefecture and Ibaraki Tomobe.

Between Oyama and Tomobe the train runs only a single track. From Tomobe it runs on the tracks of the Joban Line.

Since August 26, 2006 operate on the Mito -Line, among other new features of the E531 series.
