Mixed connective tissue disease

As Sharp 's syndrome, mixed connective tissue disease or MCTD ( mixed connective tissue disease ) refers to a mild running collagenosis with a mixture of lupus erythematosus, progressive systemic sclerosis (PSS ), polymyositis and rheumatoid arthritis ( RA). Antinuclear antibodies (ANA ) are detectable. The disease was described in 1972 by Greg C. Sharp for the first time.
