Mocean Worker
Mocean Worker ( * in Philadelphia ) is a pseudonym of the American Nu- jazz bassist, singer and producer Adam Dorn.
Life and work
Adam Dorn was born in Philadelphia, the son of jazz and R & B producer Joel Dorn. He studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
The age of 15 he was invited into the studio by Marcus Miller, resulting in a long-standing acquaintance with David Sanborn, Luther Vandross and Miles Davis grew.
Dorn took the nickname Mocean Worker as a DJ for drum -and- bass music. Over time, moved into a spike members of the radio and big band swing in his recordings.
His last album, Cinco de Mowo, in 2007, received mostly positive reviews.
