Moein (singer)

Nasrollah Moein (Persian: نصرالله معین ), better known as " Moein " (* 1951 in Najafabad, Isfahan ) is an Iranian singer who became famous with his poetic love songs.

Childhood and youth

Moein was born in 1951 in Najafabad, considered by many as the " City of Artists ". He felt early on with his hometown so connected that he towards a career in the capital Tehran, which had become the center of the artist, and chose instead the famous " Shah Abbas " hotel completed his first appearances.

Career

After Moein had written the song in 1982 Yeki Ra Doost Midaram, he left the country. In a later interview, he explained that this song has been interpreted during his early years in Los Angeles by Hayedeh ( famous Persian singer ). Still, it was his version that was to become famous and gave him the first time greater attention. This temporal shift can be a lot of people today in the belief that Moein coverte the song by Hayedeh and not the other way around.

The following years were very significant of his career. In the late 1980s and 1990s, he wrote several hits that have become classics, among them Kabeh, Havas, Isfahan, Miparastam or Paricheh. He gained by this success not only in Iran much attention, but also in many countries have migrated to the Iranians, for example, Germany, where he performed often.

Presence

Even today there are still successful releases of the artist, his last album Tolou and Toloue Man. To date, Moein has produced a total of 22 albums and ranks among the top-selling Iranian artists.

His new, planned for 2011 album is in the works, the first single Khatereha be heard since February 2010. Since the spring of 2011, two more videos have appeared, Hamdam and Khoone Siavash. In December 2011, his single Delam Tangete was published. 2012 was followed by two more singles, Majnoon and Mardom. With the Iranian musician Siavash Ghomayshi he goes on tour in 2013 and released the first single, Parandeh, in February 2013. Furthermore, in February 2013 two more singles from Moein appeared Aghoosh and Gole Naz Darom.
