Moero

Moiro ( Μοιρώ ) of Byzantium was a Greek poet of the early Hellenistic period.

She was mother married (according to other sources, daughter) of the tragic poet Homer, who lived at the beginning of the 3rd century, and with the philologist Andromachus.

She wrote many epigrams, two of which are preserved in the Anthologia Palatina. From the composed in the epic meter factory Mnemosyne ( Μνημοσύνη ) ten hexameters have survived. They also wrote a collection of Arai ( Ἀραί; " curses "), which is as lost as a hymn to Poseidon.
