Mohamed Emara

Mohamed Emara (actually Mohamed Omara, born June 10, 1974 in Ad Daqahliyya ) is a former Egyptian football player.

Association

Emara played until 1996 when Egyptian club Al- Ghazl Mehalla. He then moved to Al -Ahly Cairo and won with them in the 1997/98 season the Egyptian title. In the following winter break, he was transferred for a million marks detachment in the Bundesliga for FC Hansa Rostock. He was next Radwan Yasser second Egyptians in the squad of Rostock. Emara remained four years in the Hanseatic League and completed a total of 76 Bundesliga games. A goal he failed. His debut in the Bundesliga he gave on matchday 19 of the 1998/99 season the away match in Wolfsburg.

In the DFB-Pokal Emara ran a total of three times.

In the summer of 2002 Emara left the FC Hansa and moved together with his compatriot back to Yasser Al -Ahly Cairo. With Al -Ahly he won in the first season of the Egyptian Cup and the Egyptian Super Cup. In the season 2004/ 05 Emara still played for the Premier League rivals Al- Masry.

National

Emara played a total of 47 times for the Egyptian national football team. He scored seven goals. His international début he gave on April 22, 1995 to Tanzania.

He participated in the African Championships in 1998, 2000 and 2002. In 1998 he won the title with Egypt, was in five of six games on the court and lacked only the first round match. Two years later he played all four matches for Egypt and retired with the team in the quarter- final against Tunisia from. In 2002, he finally graduated four games for the Egyptian selection that failed to Cameroon in the quarterfinals.
