Mohammad Ali Mojtahedi

Mohammad Ali Gilani Mojtahedi (Persian محمد علی مجتهدی; born September 23, 1908 in Lāhījān, Gilan, Iran, † July 1, 1997 in Nice ) was an Iranian university professor and appointed for life Rector of Alborz High School.

Life

Mojtahed studied from 1932 in France where he graduated with a doctorate in mathematics ( Université Lille Nord de France, University of Paris Sorbonne ).

Mojtahed founded the Technical University Aryamehr, today's Sharif University of Technology, and was dean at the Polytechnic Amirkabir University.
