Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani

Mohammed Shia 'al- Sudani (Arabic محمد شياع السوداني; * around 1970 in Baghdad ) is since 2010 Minister of Human Rights in Iraq in the cabinet of Prime Minister Nuri al -Maliki. Previously, he was Governor of Maysan.

Life

Sudani is married and has four sons. Sudani has a bachelor's degree from the University of Baghdad in Agricultural Science and a Master's degree in Project Management. In 1980 was Sudani tools, like his father and five other family members were executed for membership in the Islamic Dawa Party. Sudani participated in Iraq in 1991 in the uprising.

In 1997, Sudani was appointed to the Maysan Agriculture Office. There he headed the Department of cities Kumait and Ali Al- Sharqi, and the Department of Agricultural Production. He was also supervisor Engineer in a national science program with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations ( FAO). After the invasion of Iraq by the United States and its allies in 2003 Sudani worked as a coordinator between the government and the Maison CPA. In 2004, Mayor of Amara, the capital was Maisans. 2005 Sudani was a member of the local Province Council and was re-elected in 2009.

2009 won in the local elections in the province of Maysan, the rule of law coalition the majority of seats. Sudani was elected governor. On 21 December 2010 Sudani was in the Iraqi government Nuri al - Maliki's Minister of Human Rights.
