Moltke (crater)

Moltke is a small, bowl -shaped impact crater on the Moon's front page on the southern edge of the Mare Tranquillitatis, to the east of the crater Delambre and northwest of Torricelli.

North of Moltke run the Monrillen the Rimae Hypatia.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Prussian General Helmuth Karl Bernhard von Moltke.
