Moltkeviertel
Sculptural ensemble Moltkeplatz food is a sculpture collection in Moltkeviertel in Essen, North Rhine -Westphalia.
History
In 1981, the ensemble at the initiative of the gallery owner Jochen Krüper in food and Uwe Rüth, former director of the Museum of Sculpture glass box and the art collection in Marl, at the Moltkeplatz was compiled. The project was supported by the local residents and the association Kunst am Moltkeplatz ( KaM ) committed itself to the maintenance and if applicable maintenance of the sculptures. In early 2010 the ensemble with the project at the Young Art Moltkeplatz was opened as a temporary exhibition. In addition to the selected works at the Moltkeplatz are in Moltkeviertel some more art.
