Mon Dieu

"Mon Dieu " (French My God ) is a 1960 published song by Édith Piaf. The song's lyrics were written by Michel Vaucaire (1904 -1980), the music of Charles Dumont ( born 1929 ). Piaf was unable to repeat the success of its predecessor Chansons Milord (1959 ), which generated 1960 for the best-selling single in Germany with Mon Dieu.

There are song versions in which Édith Piaf has sung the original in French but also in English. The song was from other vocalists, including by Mireille Mathieu and Angèle Durand, gecovert, recently published by Elaine Paige in her 1994 album Piaf.
