Mones Quintela is a village in the north of Uruguay.

Geography

It is located in the western part of the department of Artigas in the 7th sector on the banks of the Río Uruguay. North of the village of Arroyo opens Itacumbú. A few kilometers upstream are Calnú and Bella Unión. In the southeast Cainsa and Tomás Gomensoro are located.

Population

Mones Quintela has 531 inhabitants, of whom 288 men and 243 women (as of 2011).
